Clubs Week, Pub Night and UCPBA Event!

Happy New Year!
 
We hope everyone had a wonderful break and we welcome you back. We have several things to bring to your attention with the start of the new semester.

1) Clubs week is taking place Jan 16-20 in Mac hall. The USS will have our table set up on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (16,17,18) and we encourage everyone to stop by and say hello. If you have some spare time and are interested in helping man the table please let us know, any and all help is greatly appreciated. Also if you know of anyone who might be interested in joing the USS direct them our way!

2) We have once again this year been invited to the Ukrainian Canadian Profesional and Buissiness Association of Calgary 'Humor Night'. This event will be taking place on Thursday January 26th at the Danish Canadian Club (727 -11 Ave SW). Like last year the club is offering a $250!!! bursary for one lucky student from our club. to be eligible to win this bursary you must:
. Be a PAID! member of the Ukrainian Students' Society
. Be in attendance at the event on the 27th
. Submit a short (2 min or less) funny, clean video clip for the event to don.romaniuk@telus.net. With "UCPBA Student Bursury Draw" in the subject line along with your name. (comercials from Youtube are excelent sources)

3) We will be holding a pub night starting at 5:00pm on Monday, January 23rd at the 'Red Room' in The Den on campus. We hope you can all join us to kick off the winter semnester!
